About this hike: This was an after-work hike. Parking wasn't a big issue, but by the time I got off the mountain the lot was pretty full. The trails suffered for it. I was surprised at how crowded it was on a weekday afternoon, but perhaps I'm not the only one taking advantage of our cooler afternoon temperatures. I love this time of year...but truly, I love all seasons in Arizona.
The time it took me to get up the mountain was disappointing, especially considering I rarely paused to take a rest. Regardless, I always welcome the opportunity to climb my favorite PHX mountain.
