About this hike: Back in the 30-and-Under Club. It feels so good. Mountain was crowded today with what I presume were tourists and out-of-town visitors. It got a little irritating at times, but overall I maintained a steady pace and had an enjoyable pre-Turkey Day hike.
Notable today there is a palo verde tree at the summit that is decorated. I'm not certain if this is in honor of the victims in Paris or an attempt at an early Christmas tree.... I expect the traditional main Christmas tree to go up there shortly.
